Airpull Aviation Academy, as being the only school in Spain with its own aerodrome, comes with a bigger advantage above the rest, as the number of operations it conducts is highly superior. The fact of having its own aerodrome also allows centralizing all the education on the same spot, being Requena aerodrome where all the classrooms, aircrafts, simulators and student dorms are located.
The main difference between the three Integrated ATPL(A) courses is the student’s number of flight hours, Premium Integrated Course having the highest. This course consists of 195 real flight hours and 80 simulator flight hours, adding up to a total of 280 flight hours the student has to accumulate at the time of finishing the course and going through the exam.
This course earned Airpull Aviation Academy the best European School award in the year 2019.
It is worth noticing that the regulations allow enrollment after having completed up to 11th grade, so the general requirement is to have a High School diploma that allows you to go to the University.
Not only to become a Commercial Pilot but also to start your Integrated ATPL(A) Course you must successfully pass the aeronautical medical examination Class 1. This quite over the top-sounding examination is nothing more than a normal examination in which doctors check your physical and psychological state in the face of your future pilot position.
Affirmative, the use of glasses is absolutely allowed in your Commercial Pilot or ATPL(A) Pilot career. The current regulation allows up to 6 diopters in myopia or farsightedness and up to 1.5 in astigmatism. It is just mandatory, as when driving cars, to carry with you a spare secondary pair of glasses.
There is no concrete English certificate requirement in Aviation but the higher the level the better, as both the course and the official exams are conducted in the English language. Plus you will be faced with a written and oral English exam when joining any airline as a pilot.
Integrated ATPL and other complementary aviation courses are available.
